Finca Valpiedra is located in the heart of the <\/span>Rioja Alta <\/b>between the historic wine-producing towns of Cenicero and Fuenmayor. Cenicero is the municipality of Rioja Alta with the largest area of vineyards and since the Middle Ages has been dedicated to the monoculture of vines. In fact, both Cenicero and Fuenmayor have preserved some of the oldest stone walls, even from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, in the then stately houses of masonry that belonged to the nobility.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Fuenmayor was the seat of the Royal Board of Harvesters, the predecessor of the current Control Board. <\/span>Control Board, in the Palacio<\/b> today restored by the Marqueses de Ter\u00e1n and founded in 1788 by winegrowers from 52 municipalities with the aim of improving the production and trade of wines. Like Cenicero, the town is also home to some of the current centenary wineries born in the nineteenth century with the development of the “modern” Rioja driven by the French phylloxera. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Finca Valpiedra is located a few kilometers from Laguardia, <\/span>a medieval town with a splendorous walled city<\/b> The city of Logro\u00f1o, the capital of the region, with its Laurel Street as an international gastronomic reference, is a must-see. Haro, with the largest concentration of century-old wineries in the world in the old railroad station district, is also a thirty-minute drive away.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
