This is clear from the figures of Acevin, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acevin.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spanish Association of Wine Cities<\/a>, which put the number of tourists who visited the wineries and museums associated with the organization last year at more than 2.1 million visits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The increase is spectacular, with a 25% increase over the number of visitors in 2013, and with enormous potential still to be developed. It is estimated, for example, that the wineries of Napa Valley, in California, obtain 40% of their income from <strong>wine tourism<\/strong> and direct sales, figures that in Spain are still far away, but which continue to grow day by day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Familia Mart\u00ednez Bujanda<\/strong> has been a pioneer in wine tourism because we believe that in order to appreciate wines you have to know their environment. The vineyards of  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familiamartinezbujanda.com\/contacto\/?acc=visitas&amp;idc=24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valpiedra Estate<\/a>our winery of  <strong>Rioja<\/strong>The vineyards descend in terraces to the riverbed itself in a wonderful landscape capable of concentrating nature, history and a winemaking culture that goes back many centuries in a privileged area dedicated almost exclusively to the cultivation of vines. This was the opinion of the producers of the well-known <strong>TVE<\/strong> series <strong>Gran Reserva<\/strong>, who chose Finca Valpiedra (Fuenmayor, La Rioja) as one of the main locations for filming. Finca Valpiedra offers wine tourists walking and <strong>Segway<\/strong> tours of the vineyard, visits to the winery and wine tasting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Finca Antigua<\/strong> (Los Hinojosos, Cuenca) is an example of the union between <strong>architecture<\/strong> and wine. The rich natural environment has nothing to do with the large extensions of <strong>vineyards in La Mancha<\/strong>. It is a unique landscape at an altitude of 900 meters, with a rich flora and a diverse fauna, whose species give precisely the name to our varied wine tourism offer.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familiamartinezbujanda.com\/contacto\/?acc=visitas&amp;idc=31\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finca Antigua<\/a> offers walking or 4&#215;4 routes to discover the extraordinary diversity of our vineyards, catalogued in forty different plots, and to understand the innovation and creativity of our estate wines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The winery is a magnificent example of integration into the landscape, while <strong>La Casona<\/strong>, a typical old building of the area, now open to visitors, is a great opportunity to enjoy its space for tastings, and during good weather its Manchego patio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Finca Montepedroso<\/strong> (in the municipality of <strong>Rueda<\/strong>, Valladolid) is the latest project of Familia Mart\u00ednez Bujanda, a winery dedicated to the exclusive production of Verdejo white wines on a plantation of 25 hectares of vineyards. It is located on a plateau at an altitude of 750 meters with an avant-garde building fully integrated into the environment.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familiamartinezbujanda.com\/contacto\/?acc=visitas&amp;idc=151\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finca Montepedroso<\/a> offers in its visits, an explanation with views of the vineyard surrounding the winery to understand the character of our viticulture, its soil types and its marked altitude, as well as the careful elaboration of our unique wine, Finca Montepedroso. The wine tasting, from our magnificent tasting room, will make the visitor enjoy one of the best terroirs of Rueda.
