Soils with personality, full of geological history, diversity and mineral richness, which contribute decisively to the unique expression of its wines. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A common philosophy: own vineyard as origin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>If there is one thing that unites all the estates of the <a href=\"https:\/\/familiamartinezbujanda.com\/en\/\"><strong>Familia Mart\u00ednez Bujanda<\/strong><\/a> is its unwavering commitment to winemaking from <strong>its own vineyards<\/strong>. This philosophy guarantees absolute control over the process from the vine to the glass, and allows to faithfully express the character of each terroir. It is not just about making wine, but about cultivating identity, respect for the land and consistency in each vintage.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Finca Valpiedra: the magic is in the stones<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Located in a meander of the Ebro River, <a href=\"https:\/\/familiamartinezbujanda.com\/en\/finca-valpiedra\/surroundings-of-finca-valpiedra\/\"><strong>Finca Valpiedra<\/strong><\/a> sits on a stony boulder soil, reminiscent of the best Bordeaux terroirs. These stones not only drain water efficiently, but also accumulate heat during the day and release it at night, favoring a more homogeneous maturation. The result: complex, structured wines with a minerality that speaks directly from the soil.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Finca Antigua: diversity in its purest form<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The 421 hectares of vineyards at <a href=\"https:\/\/familiamartinezbujanda.com\/en\/surroundings-finca-antigua\/\"><strong>Finca Antigua<\/strong><\/a> offer a variety of contrasts. Its poor, calcareous soils, mixed with clay and gravel, force the vines to \u201cfight\u201d, which results in low yields, but of very high quality. Its rusticity and the extraordinary thermal amplitude between winter and summer and between day and night, offer us a characteristic acidity and a low natural pH in the grapes, so that we obtain full phenolic maturity without abusing the alcoholic content.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The diversity of plots and varieties allows us to play with different expressions, always with a common thread: innovative and avant-garde wines, with good natural acidity and a marked varietal character.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Finca Montepedroso: the soul of Rueda<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In Rueda, the Verdejo grape finds its ideal home. <a href=\"http:\/\/familiamartinezbujanda.com\/entorno-montepedroso\/\"><strong>Finca Montepedroso<\/strong><\/a> is located on a plateau with stony and clay soils, perfect for retaining the necessary humidity in an extreme continental climate. In its subsoil, we can still find the waters of the Duero nourishing from the roots. Here, the soil gives the wine an aromatic intensity and a natural freshness that defines the pure and authentic character of the variety.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>More than soils, a commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>For<a href=\"https:\/\/familiamartinezbujanda.com\/en\/\"><strong>Familia Mart\u00ednez Bujanda<\/strong><\/a>the soils are not only a physical base: they are an essential part of the soul of the wine.
