Astronomy Day 2026 is celebrated<\/strong> this April 25.<\/strong> A date that, beyond telescopes and constellations, invites us to stop, look up and reconnect with the sky. <\/p>\n\n

Because, although we are not always aware of it, human beings have lived for centuries looking upwards. The stars have been used to orient ourselves, to measure time, to tell stories… and also to work the land. In the vineyard, in fact, this connection is still very present. <\/p>\n\n

Long before weather stations or predictive models existed, farmers were guided by natural cycles. The moon, for example, marked the times of pruning, sowing or harvesting. It is no coincidence: its influence on the tides is evident, and its effect on plant sap has been observed generation after generation. <\/p>\n\n

Today, although viticulture is supported by technology, that intuition is still part of the trade. Because cultivating vines is not only about applying technical knowledge, but also about interpreting what is happening in the environment: temperature, light, humidity… and, to a certain extent, the sky. <\/p>\n\n
