Vertical Tasting, 1 wine, 3 vintages<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Rueda <\/a>is a land of winemaking tradition and the birthplace of Finca Montepedroso<\/a>, one of the Grandes Pagos in Spain<\/a>. With 25 hectares<\/strong> of our own vineyards, we produce white wines<\/strong> with personality and character, 100% Verdejo<\/strong>, recovering the essence of the purest and most traditional Verdejo wines of the area. All this responds to a very clear objective: the return to the authentic Verdejo. <\/p>\n

Located in the heart of the Rueda Denomination of Origin<\/a>,<\/strong> the estate stands on a plateau at an altitude of 750 meters,<\/strong> a privileged enclave that gives uniqueness and character<\/strong> to our wines. In addition, its different types of soil reflect the richness of the landscape that surrounds the Duero Valley. Alluvial soil<\/strong> predominates, formed by boulders and stones, which occupies most of the estate. Next to it, we findareas of clayey soil in ravines,<\/strong> where the oldest vineyards grow, as well asareas with silt and clay sediments<\/strong> and steep slopes that provide complexity and depth to the vineyard. <\/p>\n

Thanks to these stony and rustic soils<\/strong>, the vines producehigh quality fruit<\/strong>, capable of expressing all the personality and authenticity of Rueda’s best terroir.<\/p>\n

During your visit to Finca Montepedroso <\/strong>you will discover first-hand the particularities of the region, learn about the Verdejo variety -the only one we grow on our estate- and understand how the environment influences every wine we make<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, you can enjoy a commented tasting of <\/strong>our special Verdejo on lees, in 3 historical vintages<\/strong><\/a>in 3 historic vintages<\/strong> accompanied by a delicious tapa of local produce.<\/strong> And, to complete the experience,you will tour the vineyard and visit the winery while contemplating unique views that make Rueda an unforgettable place.<\/strong><\/p>\n
