Finca Antigua is Familia Martínez Bujanda’s most emblematic plot. In this high quality red wine there is a blend of red varieties for a magnificent wine, bright, complex in aromas, long flavored and exquisitely balanced after 22 months in new French oak barrels.

Clavis is an excellent limited edition wine (92 points Peñín Guide). A good wine to give as a gift.

FINCA ANTIGUA (D.O. LA MANCHA). It meant a new impulse in Familia Martínez Bujanda’s trajectory. An extreme environment for vine cultivation that, far from the traditional and uniform extensions of La Mancha, offers extraordinary possibilities for innovation in winemaking.

Finca Antigua, at an altitude of over 900 meters, has 421 hectares of vineyards in production and 550 hectares of Mediterranean scrubland. In the different plots, foreign varieties with great potential for adaptation to the terroir are grown, while also conserving the native varieties. They are used to produce a collection of surprising, creative and avant-garde wines that express the personality of this unique terroir.

Bright and clean, high intensity. Intense purple color with bluish rim. Colored, abundant and dense tears.

Intense aromas of undergrowth and balsamic (thyme, rosemary and mint) mixed with citrus (grapefruit and orange peel) and fruit (peach skin) aromas, all balanced with spicy notes of new wood and mineral background.

With fresh sensations from the beginning, it develops great volume and structure with hints of its time in oak at the end of the tasting. It has no edges, is round and silky with great breadth, with tannin present but fine and elegant. Very fresh and elegant. Spectacular.

Sheep and goat cured cheeses. Suckling pig and lamb. In general, fatty meats are enhanced by the fresh counterpoint of this wine. Its star dish is grilled turbot from the Cantabrian Sea.
