For its part, the Guía del Vino Cotidiano has recognized the excellence of Familia Martínez Bujanda wines by including wines from its four main wineries in all its categories. The tasting committee, which studies the best wines of Spain, has been publishing this useful guide for 10 years, where the qualitative relationship of each sample, and its positioning in the market, is definitive.
Thus, with a score of 94, Finca Antigua Moscatel is the highest rated sweet wine. This wine, made from the Moorish Muscat variety, is one of the flagships of the La Mancha winery, for its excellence and for offering a different and unique product. Its production is one of winemaker Lauren Rosillo’s most meticulous works, due to the double attention that wines of this profile require, first in the vineyard, ensuring the correct and healthy ripening of the grapes, and later with the delicate work carried out in the winery.
Also entering the honor roll, with 90 points or more, are Finca Antigua Viura 2018 (91) and Finca Montepedroso Verdejo 2018 (90). These two wines stand out for their ability to evolve and age.
Finca Antigua is recognized by the scores of three other references: Finca Antigua Petit Verdot Crianza 2016, Syrah Crianza 2016 and Crianza Único 2014. Cantos de Valpiedra 2015, from Finca Valpiedra, and five Viña Bujanda references (Joven 2018, Crianza 2016, Reserva 2016, Rosé 2018 and Viura 2018) are also among the wines recommended by the Guide’s tasting committee.
Familia Martínez Bujanda wines consolidate their positioning by being chosen among the recommendations of experts, who value excellence in the care of the terroir and winemaking.
