FINCA ANTIGUA BARREL CLUB
Familia Martínez Bujanda created the Finca Antigua Barrel Club with the exceptional 2004 vintage of the Selección LR wine. Since then, our technical director, Lauren Rosillo, selects 36 barrels for the production of this exclusive wine.
Selección LR is our most personal wine. It comes from a careful selection intended only for Club members. A unique varietal blend made from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months, it forms an elegant and complex ensemble that, according to Lauren, faithfully reflects the exceptional character of the Finca Antigua vineyard.
A clean and bright wine, with high aromatic intensity, which stands out for its balsamic and mountain notes, with spicy and aniseed notes provided by the aging in French oak. Of great volume and structure, very pleasant on the palate.
The winery offers its best customers this unique and exclusive wine, which can only be found in the winery, with the possibility of purchasing a full barrel (300 bottles), a half barrel (150 bottles) or a quarter barrel (72 bottles).
