Finca Montepedroso celebrates the European Day of Wine Tourism with a different kind of tasting

On November 9, to celebrate this special date, our winery is offering a “Special Tasting of Singular Estates“. Through this activity, visitors will be able to discover and enjoy five wines from the different terroirs where the Familia Martínez Bujanda wineries are located, wines from the D.O. Ca. Rioja, D.O. La Mancha and of course D.O. Rueda.

wants, in this way, to join other wineries of the Denomination to commemorate the European Wine Tourism Day. This initiative has the mission to spread the wine culture in all the countries of Europe and was promoted by the
European Network of Wine Cities
(RECEVIN). Every year it is held on the second weekend of November and in 2019 it corresponds to the 10th, although Finca Montepedroso moves up to Saturday to offer its visitors its interesting “Special Tasting of Singular Estates“.
Throughout the weekend a multitude of activities are held in different wine regions, with the intention of promoting wine culture and wine tourism among citizens.
In particular, the wineries of the Rueda DO are involved in the commemoration of this date by offering a series of activities between November 1 and 10, so that visitors can soak up the culture, landscape and tradition of this region with so much winemaking tradition. From special tastings to wine pairings, live music, scenic and architectural routes, family activities, etc. An endless number of proposals for those who visit the wineries during these days to discover what wine tourism is and what it can offer them.

Therefore, wine tourism is one of the growing sectors that contribute the most to the rural environment in Spain.
