Last Wednesday, April 17, accompanied by a group of friends of the winery, we presented Finca Antigua’s new social space, La Casona.
After two years of remodeling, and with an investment of more than 600,000 euros, Finca Antigua opens the new social area of the winery, composed of a wine storeThe dining room for lunches and dinners, where the group’s tastings will also be held, a private room for business meetings and a great manchego patio, perfect to organize events in summer evenings.
Finca Antigua is located in Los Hinojosos, in the province of Cuenca, an estate with more than 1,000 hectares of forest, 420 of which are dedicated to cultivation. A beautiful natural setting with a great diversity of plants and animals is joined by an avant-garde winery, which crowns the estate, and has the most modern techniques in winemaking, but always taking care of the craftsmanship of winemaking.
La Casona was the former century-old manor house of the estate’s owners, and Finca Antigua set out to turn it into what it is today, the winery’s wine tourism center.
In this way, our wine tourism offer is renewed and expanded, offering a more complete service to visitors: From walking routes through the vineyard or by 4×4 throughout the farm, tasting initiation courses or visits to the vineyards to show field work, are now complemented by other activities, such as gastronomic and tasting options to make the world of wine even better known.
In addition, in the new social space of Finca Antigua we also thought of offering all the comforts and advantages to invite companies to hold business meetings from product presentations to board of directors or meetings, all in a different environment, surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape.
