Description
Visit to the Rueda winery. Finca Montepedroso is a magnificent extension of 25 hectares, located in the heart of the appellation of origin, in the municipality of Rueda itself and at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level. With stony and rustic soils where the vine finds its raison d’être, it is able to offer a wine with the personality of the best terroir of Rueda.
Familia Martínez Bujanda cultivates in this estate exclusively the Verdejo variety, with the aim of producing the best wines of the region and that represent the authentic spirit of Rueda. Finca Montepedroso, our main reference, does not hide the austerity and rusticity of Verdejo, characteristics that distinguish the great wines of Rueda.
On your visit to the Rueda “Montepedroso” winery you will learn first-hand about the characteristics that distinguish the Rueda region, its main variety, and you will taste the authentic Verdejo on lees from Finca Montepedroso, a wine that breaks away from the classic Verdejo.
