Finca Valpiedra was founded in 1999 and has been a member of the Asociación Grandes Pagos de España since its inception. An exclusive and small group of wineries distributed throughout the national geography that, with unique vineyards and their own personality, claim the authentic terroirs of the country
Therefore, it follows the classic Bordeaux style, with a single vineyard and four wines made exclusively from grapes grown on the estate:
- Finca Valpiedra, our main reference and reserve category.
- Cantos de Valpiedra, our breeding.
- Petra de Valpiedra, a limited edition of 100% Garnacha that pays homage to the old Rioja.
- Finca Valpiedra Reserva Blanco, a rarity of the estate.
In addition, all of them are identified with the stony soil that characterizes the estate and that conditions, together with its own microclimate, the profile of our wines.
In this visit we combine nature with leisure and culture. For this reason, we encourage you to enjoy a natural and sustainable plan. After a tour of the winery and learning about the winemaking process, we will tour the estate*. On the one hand, we learn more about the peculiarities of the soil, the grape varieties, the vegetative cycle of the vine; and on the other hand, we will finish in the open air, with the tasting of the two most representative wines of the estate. Finally we will leave you enjoying a delicious picnic on the banks of the Ebro River. Are you up for it?
This visit includes welcome wine, winery visit, 4×4* tour of the vineyard, tasting in the vineyard of Cantos de Valpiedra crianza and Finca Valpiedra reserva and picnic on the banks of the Ebro River (outside**).
*The 4×4 has capacity for 6 people plus the guide. If the group is larger, it can be done on foot or with the help of the client’s vehicle.
** In case of bad weather, it would be moved to a space inside the winery.
