Description
Viña Bujanda Crianza (D.O.Ca. Rioja) is a purple-colored crianza red wine made from Tempranillo grapes. This classic Rioja wine is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels, which gives it wonderful aromas of black fruits and tobacco.
A wine recommended for lovers of the traditional with a broad and silky entry on the palate with a long finish.
Color:
Medium-high intensity, purple-red color with a bluish meniscus rim. Dense and colored tears.
Nose:
Aromas of black fruits (blackberries and blueberries) combined with spicy aromas from American oak (clove and cinnamon), blond tobacco and light balsamic notes. Good reflection of the Tempranillo variety, showing elegance and complexity.
Taste:
Of the three phases of the tasting, this is the one with the highest score, showing a broad, fresh and silky entry. It develops a great volume and structure during its journey. Long, tasty finish with an extraordinary aroma in retronasal.
Pairing:
Medium cured cheeses. White and red meats. Lamb, fish in sauce and spoon dishes such as marmitako, pochas and beans with partridge.
