Finca Valpiedra Reserva Blanco, (D.O.Ca. Rioja), is a limited edition of a white wine good for cellaring, one of the best whites of Rioja. Creamy, fresh, perfumed, with great balance between body and acidity.
This is a reserve white wine that pairs very well with grilled fish and braised poultry, baked turkey and small game dishes (partridge and turtledove). This white wine from Rioja also goes great with medium-high cured cheeses. And if you are looking for paella wines, Finca Valpiedra Reserva Blanco goes great.

FINCA VALPIEDRA (D.O.Ca. Rioja).Located in the best area of the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja, in a spectacular meander of the Ebro River. Its alluvial and pebble soil gives its name to this estate in the Rioja Alta. Three terraces with 80 hectares at an altitude of over 400 meters above sea level, where Tempranillo, Graciano, Grenache and Maturana red grapes are grown, and Viura, Malvasia, Grenache and Maturana white grapes.
Excellent characteristics with its own microclimate and stony soil, which make its wines are rooted in the culture of Pago wines. Part of the Asociación Grandes Pagos de España since its inception, Finca Valpiedra follows the Bordeaux style with a single vineyard and four wines made exclusively from the estate’s grapes. Color:
Medium intensity, golden yellow with glints of old gold. Abundant and dense tears.
Nose:
High intensity, with great complexity and elegance in the aromatic matrix, highlighting mineral and stone fruit notes (peach, apricot), with hints of incense and smoke. All this is combined with fine woody notes from French and American oak, such as vanilla, cedar, clove and spices such as turmeric.
Taste:
In the initial phase of the taste, it denotes excellent smoothness and volume, developing a very fine tannic structure that makes it tasty and sapid. Freshness is its predominant note with great balance with the alcohol, showing a very long aftertaste and a pleasant finish. Spicy, fruity and woody notes reappear in the retronasal passage.
Pairing:
Medium-high ripening cheeses. Stewed poultry, baked turkey and small game dishes (partridge and turtledove). Grilled fish, sea bass, sea bream, turbot and rice paella.
