Paradores de España, which for years has been doing a great job of promoting Spanish wines and gastronomy through its 97 establishments distributed throughout Spain, has included Finca Montepedroso 2019 in its ‘La Selección del Sumiller’ promotion.
Each season a team of sommeliers from Paradores de España selects new references to recommend to all the restaurants in its network after a meticulous tasting.
And on this occasion, the one chosen for its menus during the months of July, August and September this year has been the white Finca Montepedroso 2019.
Finca Montepedroso 2019 is a 100% Verdejo wine, greenish yellow in color with lemony glints. Very complex, explosive nose with notes of apricot, peach and fennel.
It is a velvety and silky white with great volume and structure. The balanced acidity gives it freshness and nerve. Long and tasty, with a fruity aftertaste.
Finca Montepedroso is located in Rueda, capital of the denomination of origin of the same name. The winery, inaugurated in 2008, follows the philosophy of the Martínez Bujanda Family when it comes to betting on its own vineyards located in privileged enclaves, and on a careful and meticulous elaboration of its wines. At Finca Montepedroso, which has 25 hectares of vineyards located at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level, only two white wines are made from the Verdejo variety.
