The Verdejo grape had already been authorized as a new variety in both La Rioja and La Mancha, but Familia Martínez Bujanda is aware that the identity of a good wine requires, in addition to a soil and a characteristic microclimateThe tradition of cultivation and processing cannot be abstracted from its authentic origins.

Familia Martínez Bujanda acquired the estate in 2008 and built a functional and unique winery, practically flush with the plateau and with the typical materials of the area to achieve a perfect integration in the environment of the vineyards. Finca Montepedroso was inaugurated in April 2012.

The Verdejo variety had already been allowed as a new variety both in La Rioja and in La Mancha, but Familia Martínez Bujanda is aware that the identity of a good wine needs also a soil and a characteristic microclimate, a tradition in growing and the elaboration that cannot be withdrawn from their real origin.

Familia Martínez Bujanda bought the estate in 2008 and built a functional and singular winery, almost at ground level of the plateau, and with the typical materials of the area to get a perfect incorporation in the surrounding of vineyards. Finca Montepedroso was opened in April 2012.
