Description

Finca Montepedroso Enoteca (D.O. Rueda), a limited edition of high quality white wine that is only released in exceptional vintages. A Verdejo Rueda wine aged for 14 months in concrete eggs. Subsequently, this great wine remains in bottle for a year.

It is a very mineral fruity wine with notes of smoke, limestone and incense. Bright, unctuous and long, it is one of the best wines from Rueda, which makes it a good white wine to give as a gift.

FINCA MONTEPEDROSO (D.O. RUEDA) is the result of the search for excellence. It is the winery that Familia Martínez Bujanda built at 750 m of altitude in Rueda, in the emerging Denomination of Origin Rueda. Excellent white wines are produced here with the personality of the native Verdejo variety and a very peculiar terroir.

These characteristics make for great wines for cellaring. The style, elegance and aging on their lees make them magnificent examples of aromatic complexity and long flavor, which makes them memorable.

Color:
Lemon yellow with golden glints, clean, bright and very glyceric tear.

Nose:
Clean and frank aromatic set, of high intensity where notes of fennel, nutshell, anise and memories of freshly cut hay, hints of smoke, incense, mixed with very elegant mineral notes.

Taste:
Velvety and silky entry on the palate with development towards great volume and structure. Balanced acidity adds freshness and nerve. Long and tasty, with a mineral aftertaste and an even more intense retronasal sensation than in the olfactory phase, with hints of incense and smoke.

Pairing:
Grilled and baked fish, turbot, sea bream, hake. Arroz caldero and a banda. Gratin pasta and grilled white meats.
