When five qualifying races have been held in the VII edition of the VII edition of the MTB provincial circuit of Cuenca, the members of the Finca Antigua cycling team lead the team classification of the championship and its components are among the first places in the different individual categories.
The start of the season for Club Ciclista Finca Antigua could not have been better. After five races of the VII MTB provincial circuit of Cuenca in the municipalities of Santa María de los Llanos, Las Pedroñeras, Quintanar del Rey, Casasimarro and Sisante, the team leads the group classification with a total of 81 points and occupies the top positions in the individual rankings.
In the elite category, Francisco Gerardo Peña and Marc Molla occupy the second and third positions in the classification, just a few points behind the first classified. On the other hand, the girls of the elite category, Olga Leal and Tamara Encinas are eighth and ninth in the classification.
In the age categories: Master 30, Master 35, Master 40 and Master 50, the team’s riders are once again topping the first places, highlighting the first and second position of José Juan Valdes and Manuel Jiménez in the Master 35 category, and the second position of Miguel Ángel Masso in Master 40. Finally, in the under 23 category, Marcos Rabadán is in fifth place with 381 points, fighting to get closer to the top positions in the coming days.
The next round of the circuit will be held on Sunday June 1 in the town of Olmeda del Rey. It will be a circuit of 32 kilometers around the area, of which 60% will be roads of medium technical and physical difficulty.
