Finca Montepedroso Verdejo on lees Magnun (D.O. Rueda) is a clean, aromatic, high quality white wine from Rueda, obtained by aging on lees, velvety, a great example of fruity wines made from the Verdejo grape.
Good wine with a long and elegant taste. A modern classic Rueda wine that pairs perfectly with white meats, fish, seafood and sushi.
After an extraordinarily dry year 2019 has been one of those rare occasions when we have been forced to use our irrigation system as was the case in 2012. This has resulted in a lower yield per hectare, which has made it possible to obtain a more balanced, fresh grape, full of nuances.
As a result, this is a very good concentrated Verdejo wine, full of nuances and with great cellaring capacity.
FINCA MONTEPEDROSO (D.O. RUEDA) is the result of the search for excellence. It is the winery that Familia Martínez Bujanda built at 750 m of altitude in Rueda, in the emerging Denomination of Origin Rueda. Excellent white wines are produced here with the personality of the native Verdejo variety and a very peculiar terroir.
These characteristics make for great wines for cellaring. The style, elegance and aging on their lees make them magnificent examples of aromatic complexity and long flavor, which makes them memorable.

Clean and frank aromatic set, of high intensity where notes of apricot, peach, fennel, green almond shell, anise and fresh fruit (grapefruit, green apple) and hints of freshly cut hay and light touches of smoke mixed with mineral notes stand out.
