The Madrid International Tourism Fair closed its doors on January 26 at the IFEMA fairgrounds with good results in terms of participation.
From January 22 to 26, FITUR, a key event for tourism worldwide, was held. More than 120,000 professionals from the sector and nearly 9,000 companies representing the tourism and gastronomic offerings of 167 countries gathered in Madrid.
The 34th edition The fair will generate an impact of 180 million euros, and will bring together the widest range of destinations and the best tools to help improve business strategies, promotion and marketing of the sector.
All the Autonomous Communities were represented at the fair, through the pavilions that each one of them presented, which were the best showcase to show all the cultural, gastronomic and tourist offer that the Spanish geography has to offer.
A unique opportunity that Familia Martínez Bujanda wines did not miss, which were present at the fair through the institutional stands of La Rioja Tourism and the Pavilion of Castilla y León.
Finca Valpiedra wines were exhibited at the La Rioja stand, located in Pavilion 9, stand number 9C10. In addition, as part of the activities organized by La Rioja, Finca Valpiedra offered a tasting on Thursday 23rd from 17.00 hours with a limited capacity of 18 people.
In the pavilion of the Junta de Castilla y León the recently launched Rueda Wine Route was also presented on the same Thursday, January 23rd at 11:30 a.m., in an event with the participation of two guest actresses from Valladolid, Silvia García and María Negro, who gave way to a promotional video of the Appellation, featuring the most representative wineries of the wine region, among which were Montepedroso Farm.
In addition, the Castilla La Mancha stand, in pavilion 7, stand B-10, was represented along with a selection of wineries from La Mancha, Finca Antigua, which exhibited the wine tourism offer of the estate, with its new social space La Casona.
